Art Deco sideboard drinks cabinet
Vintage solid oak Art Deco sideboard fully restyled here at Catherine & Kay. This oak sideboard was made back in the day when furniture was made to last and when furniture was made of solid wood. So solid in fact that there were hardly any signs of age apart from the finish needing to be renewed. A beautiful mural was added to the front by way of a fine art print and Art Deco designs were added to the sides pulling complimentary colours from the mural itself. The inside drawer fronts and shelves were sanded back to bare wood in order to showcase the oak woodgrain. The old felt was removed from the drawers and they were re-lined with velvet. This is a truly unique one of a kind piece of furniture.
